Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Rhyme Rhino app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. Where you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app licence. On Android, Google Play's applicable purchase terms apply. These service terms do not override mandatory consumer rights or either store's applicable purchase terms.
1. What Rhyme Rhino does
Rhyme Rhino turns stories, voice notes and personal details into lyrics and songs generated by artificial intelligence. Lyrics can be edited by hand before music is created. Songs are saved on your device, where you can play, reorder and share them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into these terms. A higher minimum imposed by local law applies. Regional Store ratings may use different age categories; they do not lower our minimum age.
3. Your content and your responsibility
- You keep all rights you have in the stories, recordings, photos and details you provide. You grant us the limited right to process submitted stories, recordings and details through our servers and our AI service providers solely to create your lyrics and songs and to operate the app. Cover photos remain on your device and are not sent for AI processing.
- Only submit material you have permission to use. Do not submit other people's private information, recordings or photos without their consent.
- Do not use the app to request illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing content, to impersonate a real performer, or to reproduce existing copyrighted lyrics or music. Requests can be declined by our content safeguards or by our providers.
4. AI-generated results
- Lyrics and music are generated by AI. Results vary and may contain mistakes, mispronunciations, changed wording or omitted details. Review every song before you share it.
- We do not clone your voice and do not imitate specific artists. We do not promise that a result is unique, that it is free of similarity to other works, that every request will be accepted, or that a song will suit any particular commercial use.
- We do not claim ownership of your input or generated songs. Subject to rights in your source material, provider terms and applicable law, you may save and share your results. AI generation does not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity or clearance of third-party rights. We do not grant rights belonging to another person; review rights before any commercial use.
5. Free use and subscriptions
TestFlight builds use Apple sandbox purchases for testing; these do not create a paid production subscription. The current closed Android Alpha uses Google Play license-test purchases and separate Sandbox allowances; use a configured license-test account for test purchases.
The app is free to download. Free use includes AI-written lyrics — currently 10 AI lyric versions per calendar month (UTC) across all scenarios — with unlimited manual editing. Creating music requires an auto-renewable subscription:

- Prices may differ by country or region and are shown in the app before purchase.
- Allowances are counted per allowance period and unused generations do not roll over. The Yearly plan grants its monthly allowance each month of the paid year; it does not grant 240 songs upfront.
- Saved songs and lyrics stay available on your device after a subscription ends. Manual editing, listening and sharing never require a subscription.
- Switching plans: your store controls when an upgrade, downgrade or other plan change takes effect. Our server uses the effective store-verified purchase to determine the active plan and allowance period. Changing a selection in the app does not itself reset an allowance.
- A generation is reserved against your allowance when accepted. A confirmed unsuccessful generation releases its reservation. If the provider outcome is unknown, or music was returned but could not be saved, the reservation remains while the result is investigated; we do not automatically repeat a potentially paid generation. Contact support about a stuck creation. Regenerating lyrics, including an automatic rewrite you confirm after a content refusal, uses another AI lyric version. A rewrite does not automatically start music generation or spend a song allowance. Manual editing is free.
A failed renewal does not grant a new unpaid allowance. Your store may retry billing; saved songs remain available locally. Refunds are handled under the applicable store rules and mandatory consumer rights. A refund or revocation causes entitlement rechecking; used song allowances do not determine a prorated store refund.
6. Automatic renewal and cancellation
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable price shown by Apple, subject to its price-change rules, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules: reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
On Android, payment is handled by Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed local price and period unless cancelled. Manage or cancel them in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not erase downloaded songs. Refund requests follow Google Play rules and applicable consumer law. Uninstalling the app or deleting the Rhyme Rhino account does not cancel a subscription. Purchases are not transferred between Apple and Google Play.
7. Availability and changes
Generation needs an internet connection and can take several minutes. We may change features, providers, styles or languages, and we may suspend generation temporarily for maintenance or safety reasons. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
8. Termination
We may restrict or end access for an installation that violates these terms or abuses the service. You can stop using the app at any time and delete all content in Settings. Android users can also request deletion of the app account through Settings or our web support page. This does not delete the Google Account or cancel a store subscription.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription period in which the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protection.
